Abstract: The talk will present a number of image analysis and machine learning techniques and their application in medically oriented projects. The techniques to be presented are supervised classification using support vector machines and Bayes Point Machine, Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT), livewire segmentation and stereo based scene reconstruction. The application areas range from odontology to ophthalmology.
