Various forms of EMF effects on neurons in vivo and in vitro, with a focus on the development of software for simulation of how electrical currents and electromagnetic fields spread in the brain during treatment with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). TMS is a form of treatment that is increasing in importance and there is an increasing need for a better understanding of how TMS-induced currents spread in the brain at the individual-specific level, providing opportunities for the commercialization of the project.
