An analysis of the efforts to create equal opportunities at Chalmers department of Chemical and Biological engineering
The issue of equal opportunities is always heavily debated, not least in the academic environment where a successful career directly relates to the given opportunity to perform both qualitatively and quantitatively. Docent Helena Stensöta has analyzed the situation at the department of chemical and biological engineering. Results and reflections will be shared in this seminar. Has the number of women in different position increased? Do initiatives directed to women enforce stereotypes of women and men?
Helena Stensöta is an Associate Professor and senior lecturer at Political Science Department at University of Göteborg. Her research focuses on gender, ethics, public policy and administration.
