Jolife – from idea to successful exit
With the LUCAS chest compression machine, Jolife AB has gone from a startup company in 2001 to global market leader in a growing market in 2011. The road from startup to success has like for all companies included both successes and challenges. Jolife has been awarded the Swedish Industrial Design’s “Great Design Award” in 2006 and ranked 24th position in Deloitte’s “Sweden Technology Fast 50 list” in 2008, but the greatest success is that they now have the number one market position in the U.S.
The presentation will be held by Erik Von Schenck. Erik has more than 20 years experience of large and small international medtech companies. He has held senior positions as a CEO of Jolife, CEO at Jostra AB and leadership positions at Gambro. Erik has a Civil Engineerings degree from the Technical University of Lund and an Executive MBA at the EFL. He is currently working as Vice President at Physio-Control, Inc., the market leader in professional defibrillators and mechanical CPR. Erik is also a partner in Captera Medtech AB, Chairman of Avidicare AB and a board member for SensoDetect AB and AB Xvivo.
