MTW seminar on August 18: EU funded project at MedTech West by Henrik Mindedal
In July 2015 MedTech West (MTW) received funding approval from EU’s Regional Development fund of West Sweden, through Tillväxtverket. The means will be used to improve the efficiency of MedTech West and finance activities during 2015 to 2017.
The funds will primarily be used to proactively initiate more R & D projects, based on clinical needs, where small and medium size companies are engaged, in collaboration with medical and care experts, and academic researchers. The activities will initially be focused on the establishment and operation of an open biomedical engineering arena related to the new Imaging and Intervention Centre (BoIC) at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg. Resources will also be targeted at supporting the development of individual new medtech solutions by actively engaging other organizations in the innovation support system.
In this seminar Henrik Mindedal will present more details about the planned open arenas, activities and the opportunities that the project represents.
A light lunch will be served to those who have registered before 13:00 PM on Aug 14. Please, email your registration to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Write “Seminar Aug 18″ in the subject field.
Welcome to Förmaket, Vita stråket 12, Sahlgrenska University Hospital at 11.30-12.30 (13.00 incl. lunch).
