On 19 October WiSE is arranging a lunchseminar with Danica Kragic with the title “Are we all robots?”

Automation and robotics are changing the society we live in and will also affect the way we work and what we work in the future. But there are still many open problems and serious ethical and moral questions to be addressed before we deploy robots and use them in our daily lives. At this seminar, Danica will overview some of the scientific challenges in the area as well as the challenges of building an academic career in general. Danica is a professor and vice dean at the School of Computer Science and Communication, KTH. She is also director at the Centre for Autonomous systems.
